Montrelle House · Switzerland
Life’s most important decisions deserve independent guidance.
Switzerland’s independent private office. Guiding a small number of families through the decisions that shape a lifetime.
By Invitation
We work with only a small number of families at any one time.
It is a deliberate choice. It allows the depth of understanding on which our work depends, and the continuity of a relationship that unfolds quietly over generations.
New relationships begin only by invitation or private referral.
Why We Exist
Life has become global. And, in becoming so, more fragmented.
Families today must coordinate lawyers, banks, tax advisors, immigration specialists, schools and healthcare providers, often across several countries at once.
Each advisor sees only one piece of the picture. Most carry interests of their own. Montrelle House exists so that no family has to hold that fragmentation alone.

Decisions We Help With
The decisions that shape a life.
Our work is not a catalogue. It is a considered relationship, held over time. What follows is the ground we cover, always in coordination, never in isolation.
- 01
Relocating internationally
The arrival of a family in a new country. Residency, canton, home, and the quiet details of a life resumed elsewhere.
- 02
Buying or selling a home
Introductions to properties rarely, if ever, publicly listed. Guidance on ownership and long-term stewardship.
- 03
Choosing schools and universities
A family’s most personal decision, matched with care to each child.
- 04
Structuring wealth across generations
An independent perspective on how wealth is held, protected and passed on.
- 05
Tax and residency planning
Objective coordination of cross-border questions, alongside the specialists a family already trusts.
- 06
Immigration and citizenship
A decision that touches identity as much as paperwork. Considered over years, not weeks.
- 07
Healthcare and later life
Continuity of care that follows a family across borders and generations.
- 08
Retirement planning
The shape of a life after work, considered with the same rigour as any earlier chapter.
- 09
Business exits
Quiet counsel in the years before, during and after a sale.
- 10
Succession and inheritance
The most sensitive conversations a family will ever have. Held with patience.

Our Role
We never own the solution. We find the right one.
Montrelle House sits above the transaction. We hold the full picture of a life across borders and quietly assemble the specialists needed at each decision.
Our loyalty belongs, without exception, to our clients.
How We Work
Four quiet movements, held over years.
- One
A private conversation
A discreet introduction, held in confidence and without obligation.
- Two
Understanding a life
We take the time to understand the whole picture, before any advice is offered.
- Three
Assembling the right people
We convene trusted specialists around you, from our network or your own.
- Four
Every important decision, together
We remain beside you as one decision leads quietly to the next.

The Modern Reality
“The world has become fragmented. We exist so that the people we serve never have to hold it alone.”
Read our philosophy
From the Founder
Someone must hold the whole picture.
For most of my career I watched families of extraordinary accomplishment navigate the most important decisions of their lives with a dozen excellent advisors, and no one holding the whole picture on their behalf.
Each saw a fragment. Each carried, quietly, an interest of their own. The person the family most needed did not yet exist.
Montrelle House was built to be that person.
For Families Living Across Borders
Every decision, considered as part of a whole life.
A move to Switzerland is not only a residency question. It is a question of schools, of health, of how wealth is held across generations, of the home a family will one day call their own.
Our work is to hold all of it, quietly, and always in our client’s interest.

A Considered Introduction
Every important decision begins with understanding.
If our approach resonates, we would welcome a private conversation.
